Velvet fibers are delicate and sensitive to direction. If the machine is used the wrong way or from the wrong direction, the fibers dry rough and lose their softness.
Do stains come out of velvet?
Yes, but it needs specific products and the right technique; ordinary cleaning will not get them out.
Can velvet be cleaned yourself?
