How much does sofa cleaning cost in Tallinn?

Sofa cleaning costs from €65 and the minimum order is €65. The price depends on the size of the sofa. No VAT is added; the price is final.

How long does sofa cleaning take and when can you sit on the sofa?

Cleaning usually takes 30–45 minutes on site. For a larger and very dirty sofa it can take up to 1 hour. A sofa and other upholstered furniture both dry in 8–12 hours. Use the sofa again once the upholstery is completely dry; actual drying also depends on the ventilation of the room and the material.

How does ordering sofa cleaning work?

Send an inquiry with a photo of your sofa, and we will tell you the price and agree on a suitable time. We reply within 1 hour and can come the same day if needed. We work every day 9–21. We send you a reminder the day before we come.

How does sofa cleaning work step by step?

We arrive with our own products and machine and start right away. The work goes like this:

1. We inspect the fabric and choose products suited to it.
2. We remove dust, hair and loose dirt, including from under the cushions.
3. We spray a pre-treatment product onto the fabric, which starts to dissolve the dirt.
4. We clean the sofa with a Kärcher upholstery extractor using hot water.
5. We extract the water and loosened dirt with the machine. The remaining moisture must dry before you use the sofa.

We clean the frame, seat cushions and back cushions in one go. We use professional cleaning products suited to the material, according to their instructions for use.

What do I need to prepare before the cleaner arrives?

Light, electricity and water must be available on site. You do not need to prepare anything else.

Is the cleaning suitable for my sofa fabric?

We clean most sofa fabrics, and you do not need to know the fabric type yourself. We inspect the fabric on site and choose the products accordingly. We clean a leather sofa with a different method; see the short description of leather sofa cleaning.

Can I clean the sofa myself first?

It is better not to use cleaning products on the sofa yourself. Cleaning with household products or dish soap may damage the fabric. For a fresh stain, call us. If you want to do something right away, gently blot the excess liquid with paper; do not use a cleaning product.

Does cleaning remove all stains?

It may not remove all stains completely. Very old stains, stains treated with household products and stains caused by permanent damage may remain. We have usually also removed felt-tip and marker stains several weeks old from sofa fabric.

How often should you clean a sofa?

In a typical home, professional deep cleaning is usually enough about once every 12–24 months. With children, pets or heavy use, cleaning may be needed more often. Also go by the fabric care label, visible dirt and odor. Read the guide to choosing a cleaning frequency.

The difference between sofa washing and chemical cleaning

Deep cleaning of upholstered furniture is often called chemical cleaning. For fabric furniture we mainly use wet cleaning, i.e. hot-water extraction cleaning: the cleaning solution helps loosen the dirt and the machine extracts the water together with the dirt. We decide whether the method is suitable based on the material and the care label.

Sofa cleaning covers the frame and the seat and back cushions, including both sides of the cushions. We choose the stain pre-treatment on site. For urine stains and odor or pet hair, the result depends on how deep the dirt has gone.
