What should you do right away if wine spilled on your sofa?
Gently blot the excess liquid with a clean cloth or paper, don't rub. Don't add water, salt, baking soda or other household products, because they may not help and can even set the stain in the fabric. On a sofa with especially light fabric, react quickly and order cleaning as soon as you can.
Does a wine stain always come out completely?
Usually we can get rid of a wine stain if you react quickly. Very old stains, stains treated with household products and stains on light fabric may still leave a permanent mark.
