Is cleaning worth it compared with buying a new sofa?
Often yes. Our cleaning costs €65-150 depending on the sofa, while a new sofa costs thousands of euros. Very many customers come to us just before deciding to buy a new sofa and are surprised by the result.
When does cleaning make sense?
If the sofa is simply dirty, dusty or smells, it is definitely worth trying cleaning first. We recently cleaned a sofa that had gotten dusty during home renovation and already seemed hopeless, and it came properly clean again. We have also saved sofas that were full of children's lemonade and food stains.
When do you recommend a new sofa instead of cleaning?
If the sofa is broken, if you simply do not like how it looks (we cannot change that), if the sofa has mold, or if it has years-old blood stains or has stood in a damp room for years.
When moving, is it worth cleaning the old sofa or buying a new one?
Very often people contact us just when moving into a new home, when they want to refresh their own or the previous owner's sofa. Often good cleaning is enough and there is no need to buy a new sofa at all.
