Which is easier to maintain, fabric or leather?
For everyday care, leather is easier to maintain: dirt and dust can usually be simply wiped or vacuumed off the surface. Fabric needs more regular, deeper cleaning, about every couple of months.
Which one makes it easier to remove stains?
Stains do not form on leather as easily, because it does not absorb, but once a stain does form, it is harder to remove completely from leather. Stains form on fabric more easily, because liquid seeps straight between the fibers, but we can get stains out of fabric properly with our upholstery extractor.
Which one makes it easier to remove pet hair?
You can remove hair from leather by simply wiping or vacuuming. Fabric holds hair more tightly and needs our special tool to clean it, see pet hair and odor.
Is cleaning a leather or a fabric sofa more expensive?
Cleaning a leather sofa is more expensive because it is done by hand, not with a machine, and it takes longer. We always give the exact price according to the sofa.
